At this moment I was very excited to write in this blog. Now, I think my mind has changed due to the computer acting up. I cant even write my ”Title” bc the comp wants to automatically translate into Chinese!
Anyways, I have been to some great Weddings in the past weeks, but I have noticed something in the pics I have taken. I have become very comfortable with food! I seemed to have gained weight in the past couple months. I think my sitting down occupation is taking over. Plus my coworkers and I love to eat lunch out. So, for now on Im on a diet. I prefer to say ”healthy eating solution” bc diets NEVER WORK! Im realizing this after seeing my ”blimp” self in photos I took! Im working out everyday again, like in the past, and looking forward to slimming back down.I know this will take some time to achieve also. I know that having those weekend sugary cocktails are not helping either, which is why Im not drinking till I achieve my goal!
As I stated in the last post, ”if i remember my password i will blog more”. Well, I forgot it again, but I’m back now. So much has happened in my life since March. I no longer work at Sally Beauty, that was a temporary job but it was nice for awhile. Im now working for the City at the Housing Authority. I definitely love my job and have some awesome co-workers. Chris and I have postponed moving in due to his roommate not having his finances together. Chris does not want him to be homeless and I do understand, though it pushed our plans back…I’m okay with that…Now!
Anyways on another note this Summer has been a busy one. I have been to many wedding showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties and weddings. I’m wondering when my time will come when all my friends will return the favor! These gatherings can take a toll on you and be expensive. I’m very excited for my Friend Nardas nuptials this coming Saturday! I’m a bridesmaid and this is the wedding I have been waiting for. I’m so happy for Narda and her fiance Jason. They have recently come to know that Lord and that excites me. Her deliverance brought me back to when i was a baby Christian long, long, long time ago. I grew up as one, but in my early twenties I wasn’t always acknowledging him in my life. So earlier this yr I rededicated my life to the Lord; growing and learning to live for him again everyday.
Its seems harder now in my twenties to stay focused on God but I’m getting there, not letting others and things distract me. I recently went back to my old church from when I was young and I love it. I think my family left bc it was far to travel too,but now I’m an adult and I have my own church and can drive. See…it was when i was a non driver and a teen that i attended. Covenant Church in Carrolton, Tx is where i go and its an awesome church, so check it out if your ever in town.
