Holiday Challenges

Kicking November off with a Bang!

November Goals:

  1. Drink more water
  2. Workout morning and evening
  3. Less processed foods
  4. Spend more time with family

Many challenges are going on and it’s a great time to pick one to help you get through the Holidays.  I’m participating in POTM and also another challenge at TheNest that Kelsey from Kelseytoney has told me about. This challenge will be great with POTM.  Please go check it out, thanks again Kelsey!

I felt so refreshed this morning, I couldn’t believe how an extra hour can make a difference.  Thank you Mr. Daylight Savings…for the extra time to workout, eat breakfast at home and watch The Morning Show.

I’m happy to say I started the day with a workout and ended it with a workout too!

  • 30 min. Cardio (morning)
  • 30 min. High Def Sculpt (evening)
  • 30 min. Total Body Sculpt (evening)

Yogurt, granola with fruit always makes me happy.

Lunch was a Chipotle burrito with Carlos.

Tofu Stir Fry & Whole Grain Pilaf was on the menu for dinner tonight.

Cut the tofu into cubes and marinate in stir fry sauce for 15 minutes over the stove.  After cooking the frozen vegetables, I added the tofu and 90 sec Kashi Pilaf to the mix.

This delicious meal took less then 30 minutes to prepare.  We now call tofu ”chicken” at home. Chris likes tofu but would rather I call it chicken, so he can imagine it’s meat. Lol

Can’t forget the fruit salad on the side as dessert.

New things in November:

  1. Healthy Living Challenges
  2. Anniversaries (4 year dating anniversary)
  3. Weddings
  4. Birthdays
  5. Holidays with family & friends
  6. 18 days, 18 days, 18 days till New Moon

What challenges are you participating in, to help you through the Holidays?

Good Night

POTM is a great challenge!! I have one called Bootie Buster Challenge that I run over the holidays for everyone and it’s a great motivator too. Good reminder to drink up on my water this month!!

Ugh… isn’t it crazy how processed food makes you feel AND packs on the #’s?? It’s best to get tone it down.
You are going to be looking H O T mama! Two a days? I was doing so well… I haven’t shredded regularly in a couple weeks. I am still keeping up on the BFL workouts tho!
Congrats on the dating anniversary!

Great goals and great food. I love that Chris calls tofu “chicken.” My boyfriend likes tofu, but I may have to adopt a similar habit because it still kind of irks me anywhere outside miso soup.

Your meals look so yoummy! I’ve never tried tofu but have been curious, maybe I’ll try this recipe. Great Goals for November!

Sounds like some really good goals. I like to work out twice a day myself … cardio in the morning and lifting at night. And more water? Me too!

2 workouts a day!? I raaaarely do that because I hate showering twice, haha. Sometimes if I do, I’ll just be sweaty for the day :)

I need to come up with a challenge to help me get through the holidays! I like that idea :-) I think the water one is BIG one for me. I don’t drink anywhere near enough water. And I pretty much stopped working out – so that should be another one!!! I will post about this soon!!!

I love your November goals! I definitely need to drink more water and spend more time with my family. Both are so important. Thanks for sharing!
