I never really remember the month of August, it seems to come and go super fast. All I can I think about is my vacation starting next week and going to Chicago for the first time and attending the Healthy Living Summit.

Breakfast: egg whites wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla.

Yummy fruit salad

Lunch: Grilled chicken sandwich, soup, fruit salad

Dinner: Vegetable Alfredo Penne

(2 cup penne pastas, 2 cup light Alfredo sauce, 3 cups frozen vegetables- serving size 2)

An easy dinner for two that took less then 30 minutes to cook

I’m so ready for September, so over this 100 degree weather. What’s the weather like where you’re at?

Let this ”Wanna be Chef” Experiment!!

Maybe one day I’ll actually follow a recipe, but what’s the fun in that…BORING!

Spaghetti w/ Pumpkin Sauce & Broccoli

I won’t lie, I was scared to taste it but Chris said it was okay. He’s never had pumpkin, including pumpkin pie. Crazy, right?? I think I’ll work on it before sharing the recipe.

Followed by some yummy Pop Chips, Corinne sent me to sample. Thank you again.
