After much thought, I’m not putting this goal off anymore. I’m going to run a 5k in August. I’ve given up on trying to find someone to do it with me too. I desperately seeking a running group here in my town. I have yet to find one and can’t seem to find someone to commit to being my workout buddy too. All my close buddies last a week or two at fitness and quit on me…not there thing I guess….. I’ll announce more details later this week. I just learned of it today….GIANT billboard off the highway. I’m nervous but excited!
I really need to go grocery shopping and buy more fruits, I’m good on the veggies though.
Today was my ”indulge day” lol. I couldn’t resist & had a corn dog from Sonic for breakfast! I was also so lazy and skipped my morning workout on the treadmill. I was in bed saying”get up and go to that garage Nicci”, but I fell back to sleep and hit the snooze. Now, I’m off work early and this is a sign to get in my workout before dinner.
Lunch: Spinach & Tomato Salad w/ balsamic dressing
Treadmill: 45 minutes
Dinner: Turkey burgersa & sweet potato fries
Yoga: 1 hr with Steve Ross
ps. I almost ate this 4 pack reeses but then i saw the calories. what a waste of 400 cal. I gave it away instead. I wanted my ”sweets” later this week instead.
The weekend will be a challenge:
Friday: cookout for a friends b-day. I’m sayign no to alcohol and going to limit myself to everything. I’m bringing the veggie platter…yummy
Saturday: Bbay shower= more food!
