TJ’s Mango Black Tea…is perfect drink to start out the day!
I really wish we had a Trader Joe’s here in Tx that would be HEAVEN. That’s why I savor every drop and really enjoy it. Tuesdays breakfast was the same as Mondays, so I’ll spare you the pics of a Green Monster & a breakfast hot pocket
I made a turkey burger the night before to take to work and I devoured that with a smile, along with some bugles (which i found too salty) & some fresh baby carrots.
Yummy…Ground turkey, and a variety of spices for flavor.
Plump tomato & spinach on whole wheat bread!
Followed by a great pasta & turkey dish I was inspired to make from
Caitlin at Healthy tipping point. My version of course was for serving 3 people!
- macaroni noodles ( ran out of whole wheat pasta)
- ground lean turkey
- spinach
- bell peppers
- chikpeas
- shredded cheese
Brown sugar carrots & more Mango Tea…Delicious!!
Happy Memorial Day to everyone out there!
I’m not even sure where to begin…it has been exactly a month since i last posted to this blog. I have been doing major slacking in that area. I have kept up reading everyone’s blogs on Reader. With that said, I’ve missed posting & chatting with everyone. I’ve also realized even if I forget to take pics, I can still make the effort to post. Major slacking on working out daily & healthy eating. I let myself go and I’m not happy with my weight now…gained some back. Sorry for that ranting but I had to get it out. I’m back now & I’m coming harder & stronger! I’m commited to working out daily and eating right! So, here I go…
I started the morning out with a Green Monster…though I have been MIA…great minds think alike. I had started making breakfast smoothies last month just like other readers…
My Smoothie contained:
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 mango
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 cup of low fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup of Vanilla Rice Milk
Delicious…
(Quick Smoothie Tip)
No time to make it in the morning:
Make your smoothie the night before & pour it into ice cube trays. In the morning there is no rush to put it together. Simply pop 5-6 cubes in the blender w/ some water or milk and BLEND AWAY…
I also had a Hot pocket sausage & cheese…these pockets taste good and are only 200 calories!
To celebrate Memorial Day, I helped myself to some homemade Potato Salad w/ burger patty topped with lettuce, shredded cheese & tomato. A Small plate to tie me over to dinner time. Still not quite sure what I’m going to eat.
Exercise: 1 hr yoga (Inhale w/ Steve Ross)
Have a Great Memorial Day Ladies!
