Snacking and Relaxing

by Nicci on 12/19/2009

I woke up this morning and did some 10 Minute Solution: Yoga downloaded from netflix.  I’ve been so sore from my run on 3 miles. I knew I should have taken more time to stretch properly.  I’ll do a 3 mile run later today, so not following my training schedule this week, but I’m still running!

I drank a delicious fruit-packed Green Monster this morning.

A great recipe from Caitlin in her recipe section.  I subbed flax for bread crumbs because I had none in the house.

I really should be doing more cleaning and less watching Law & Order: SVU on netflix. I’m addicted to shows like these!!

What are your Saturday plans?

I’ve missed blogging and catching up with people this busy week.

Radio City Rockettes was a great show to watch.  I loved every dance they performed.  Sadly no camera’s or recorders were allowed in the Nokia Theatre.  I was sad, especially after seeing a Rockette walk around after the show…no pics for  me.

Oh I’ve been dying to try those sweet potato and black bean balls! They look so yummy! That 10 minute yoga solution sounds like the perfect way to start the day. I always think I have to do an entire 90 min class in order to be practicing, but in reality, 10 minutes is just as good. You have to do what you have to! Sorry I’ve been MIA lately! I hope you have happy holidays :)

that is such a cool idea for the black bean balls!

Glad you had a great time at the rockettes :) i bet it was an amazing experience! I hate when they don’t allow pictures

Glad you liked the Rockettes!!! I really want to go next year.

Yoga is a great way to start the day. I was too tired this morning, but hope I can do it tomorrow!

I’ve never seen that show. One of these years I’m gonna have to go!

Annamarina (Running Tails) December 20, 2009 at 10:38 pm

The Radio City Rockettes is my favorite Christmas show! When I was younger we used to spend Thanksgiving in NYC quite often, and my mom and I would always go see the Rockettes while my dad and brother went to a basketball game. I can’t wait to see the show again!

Love Amazing Grass. It really is amazing. I can definitely tell a difference when I don’t drink it in the morning.

I drove to MI from St. Louis on Saturday…it pretty much took alllll day.

Hey lady, Glad you had fun at the show. I’ve been meaning to make those sweet potato balls as they look incredible. I’ve never heard of apples in the green monster. Do you use water or some kind of milk? I made a GM for the first time this week and really liked it. I was shocked. Have a great weekend!

Blogged my Saturday away haha. I’ve loved all this extra time to blog/tweet! I’m gonna feel so disconnected when I go back to school and have real work again. I’ve been craving GMs but I can’t bear to make my body any colder than it is.

I don’t remember the last time I was able to sit and watch a favorite show all the way through. There is always something that needs to be done- I hear ya!

i’ve been so unmotivated with my runs and I feel like I have no ENERGY lately. :( I need a running plan. I might just copy the one you are using.

We are snowed in here in VA so not much to do except entertain ourselves around the house this weekend! That being said, lots of baking and cooking has been going on for sure :)

Angela (Angelalovesfood) December 19, 2009 at 6:44 pm

I love Amazing Grass Superfood! but I wish it was cheaper, I should work for the company, collect as much goodies, then quit, or stay!

Today I tried a new restuarant and got sick, it’s on my post. It was horrible :(

Have a wonderful weekend lovely, enjoy :)

I totally thought those sweet potato black bean balls looked amazing on Caitlins blog! Way to go for trying them out. I NEED to because I’m addicted to both sweet potatoes and black beans and I actually have flax lying around.
