Saturday Brunch and Cleaning

by Nicci on 06/05/2010

I stayed up last night to watch corny but funny movies, so today’s workout did not go as planned. Instead of running, I worked out to Exercise Tv and did ”Kick Box Cardio” with Tommy Deters.

That was a fun workout that left me hungry and ready to eat a big meal.

Never too late to eat cheesy eggs, toast and fruit.

Down the hatch

I’ve been missing my smoothies, so I drank a tall one with my meal.

My smoothie contained:

  • frozen strawberries
  • one whole banana
  • ice
  • soy milk
  • water

The thought of going outside on this beautiful day is a negative due to the temp being 100 outside. I’d rather sip Ice tea and lay on the couch…clean the apartment, read and do laundry.

I’m waiting for it to cool off later in the evening, find my swim suit and hit the pool.

Later.

Sounds like a fabulous weekend :) It’s gross and rainy here, so I’ve been doing lots of sitting on the couch and reading too!

Just the thought of the heat outside is exhausting! Good call on staying indoors. The house won’t clean itself, right? :)

hey the neutrogena sunblock to me is really light. I don’t have any problems with it running or doing werid things once i get all sweaty

I love cheesy eggs. That sounds sooo good to me right now. YUM!

Smoothies are the best at getting your core temp down when it’s so hot outside. YUCK to 100 outside.

Totally agree…this Texas weather is INSANE! :(

I’m so bringing back smoothies also! It’s so hot out I can’t think about hot foods!

Exercise DVDs are a godsend when you don’t want to go outside!

haha I did the same thing this afternoon. I had plans of running & doing all these great things outside, but there was just no way once I actually got out there! The pool does sound wonderful though so enjoy! :)

I like going to the pool in the heat of the day! Nothing like super hot pool time.
