For the Love of Oats

I’m not one for oats in the summer time but this morning I really had a craving for a big bowl.

Oat It Up!

 

 Bananas and Pb have to be my favorite add ins for oats or cereal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • spoon of Pb
  • cinnamon

Saturdays Agenda:

  • The Firm ”Total Body Time Crunch”  feeling ab burn now!
  • Clean the apartment
  • Lunch: grilled chicken/spinach wrap & fruit
  • Froyo with my bestie at Yogurt Story
  • Attend friends going away party

I just remembered I had chocolate chips in the pantry. Guess I’ll add some next time.

blueberries & bananas are my faves. I also always put chia seeds in them :)

Love your blog and lately I have been LovIng my oats topped with almond butter, blueberries, crofters jam (Europe or Asia flavors) and some ground flax ;)

I love adding coconut, and chocolate into my oats. And strawberries!

I just realized that I have not had hot oats all summer!

that’s my perfect bowl of oats! it’s also my perfect smoothie – pb, banana, blueberries, cinnamon. seriously! i like honey too :)

froyo! So jealous- Have a blasty ;) Oats are perfect sometimes- so filling. I actually enjoy them for dinner every now and again. My favorite add in is cheese or hot sauce to make them savory vs. sweet!

Totally with you on bananas and PB. I also like cinnamon apples with blueberries and PB. PB is a must ;-)

I <3 oats! And I've continued to eat them through the summer but I let them really cool down before eating. My go-to is banana, cinnamon and vanilla almond milk with a sprinkling of granola or other crunchy cereal on top. This morning I added 1/2 a banana and several chopped strawberries with a sprinkling of cereal – it tasted like a freshly baked fruit muffin. Mmmm.

Your oats look so pretty :) I love to mix in strawberries, PB, or coconut and chocolate chips.
